About Dr. Friedman
-Overview-
Dr. Friedman is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breasts, body, and face. In private practice since 1996, he formerly served on the full-time plastic surgery faculty at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he was the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Friedman has published
widely in the leading plastic surgery journals, has authored numerous
textbook chapters, has been featured on multiple television and radio
broadcasts, and has lectured nationally and internationally. He is the recipient
of awards from the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American
Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic
Plastic Surgery. He has acted as an Instructional Lecturer on behalf
of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, teaching plastic surgery
techniques in Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego,
New Orleans, Orlando, Boston, Philadelphia, and Montreal. Dr. Friedman
has also been named a Super Doctor (in 2004 and again in 2005) by Texas
Monthly (awarded to fewer than 5% of Texas physicians). A gifted
wood and marble sculptor, Dr. Friedman's work has been displayed
in several galleries and is part of many private collections.
Dr. Friedman has been a song writer for over 30 years. He had the privilege
of performing live on fox 4, as introduction to a speech by Former New York
Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and for a crowd of 17,000 in San Antonio.
Dr. Friedman serves as the Director of the West Plano Plastic Surgery
Center, a nationally-accredited surgery center, conveniently located
on the campus of Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. He performs breast
enlargement, reduction,
and lifts; liposuction; mini
and full tummy tucks; nasal
reshaping; lip enhancement; eyelid, face,
and brow lifts; medical skin care; and Botox and Restylane injections. |
