Dr. FriedmanRonald M. Friedman, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the breasts, body, and face. In private practice in Plano since 1996, he formerly served on the full-time plastic surgery faculty at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he was the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Best of 2024 D Magazine has selected Dr. Friedman as a Best Doctor in Dallas and/or Collin County 18 times, and Texas Monthly named him a Texas SuperDoctor (an honor achieved by fewer than 5 percent of Texas physicians) multiple times. ABC News has repeatedly sought out his expertise for stories on breast and body contouring. He has published widely in the leading plastic surgery journals, has authored numerous textbook chapters, has been featured on multiple television and radio broadcasts, and has lectured nationally and internationally on over 30 occasions.

Dr. Friedman is the recipient of honors and awards from the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has acted as an instructional lecturer on behalf of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, teaching surgical techniques to other plastic surgeons in Dallas, San Antonio, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, New Orleans, Orlando, Boston, Philadelphia, and Montreal.

A gifted wood and marble sculptor, Dr. Friedman’s work has been displayed in several galleries and is part of many private collections. Dr. Friedman has also been a songwriter for over 30 years. He has had the privilege of performing live on FOX 4 Good Day Show, as an introduction to a speech by former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and for a crowd of 17,000 in San Antonio.

All proceeds from the sale of his 17-song pop and rock CD, Illusions, benefit Smile Train, a non-profit organization providing free cleft lip and palate surgery to children in over 60 countries.

Dr. Friedman serves as the Director of the West Plano Plastic Surgery Center, a nationally accredited surgery center, conveniently located on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Plano. He performs breast enlargement, reduction, lifts and nipple procedures, liposuction, mini and full tummy tucks, eyelid lifts, lip enhancement, ear surgery, scar revision, medical skincare, labiaplasty, reconstructive surgery, and BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, Restylane®, Restylane Contour®, Restylane Lyft, Juvederm Ultra®, and Juvederm Voluma injections.
